This Torro Group rebrand was all hustle, no bull.
Let’s start with a bit of a back story. What is now called Torro Group used to be called the Matthew Klonowski Real Estate Team. It’s a bit of a mouthful, we know! That’s only a small part of why they chose to rebrand. The Matthew K Team went for the playful, friendly look, sporting a cartoon avatar logo. As time went by, they knew their old brand no longer aligned with them, and they were adding a new man to the team.
The Challenge
Jay was about to join the Matthew K Team, and they all knew they needed a rebrand. It was the perfect time to walk away from the cartoon look and examine how their changing dynamic could differentiate them from competition. In a competitive industry like real estate, it’s hard to truly stand out. This is mostly due to the fact that most brokers, realtors, and sales representatives offer the same services across the market. So what was it that really made this group stand out in their market?
The Solution
Our Brand Strategist, Shanna Dennis, met with the team to discuss their plans. Through our Define Before Design® sessions, she was able to gather information on who they were, who they are, and who they want to be. Inspired by their values and approach in the industry, they worked together to develop the new name and tagline to define their rebrand. The Torro Group rebrand was born!
The Torro Group Rebrand
So where did “Torro” come from, you ask? For starters, both Matthew and Jay are Tauruses when it comes to star signs. Second, they both have a tenacious work ethic and competitive spirit. Their motto, “All Hustle, No Bull”, represents their courage, confidence, willingness to find opportunities, and quality of being truthful and honest. Plus, it’s just some really fun word play!
It doesn’t stop at the new name and tagline, though! There’s so much more behind the scenes that we help put into place so that the team’s vision is totally aligned. And, of course, there’s the visual side! Our new logo, colour scheme, and design elements bring this rebrand to life. This look is powerful, sophisticated, and versatile.
