It is very common to launch a trades company using a last name and J. Cameron Plumbing and Heating sounded as common as they come. The problem is that the name was attracting every type of client because it was giving a perception of a “Handy Man with a plunger”. The truth, however, is that this is no ordinary plumbing company. They have a unique passion for problem solving and controlling the flow of water in the most challenging of situations. Water is a powerful force with a mind of it’s own at times, but they can honestly overcome and successfully take control of the flow. In essence, they show up, and conquer the flow of the water.

The Solution

Through our Define Before Design® sessions, we were able to develop the new name: CONQUER, named after the company’s ability to take control of the flow of the water. The name represented their inner passion for taking charge of difficult situations and set them apart from the typical plumber.

The new visual brand is sleek and with a strong simple name, we can create nice-looking swag and apparel such as shirts and hats for the crew using the “Q” design as a brand icon. CONQUER now attracts the caliber of plumbers who wish to join a team that makes a difference and can feel proud to wear the name and logo.

Our content writing speaks to the heart of the company because they took the time to articulate what matters to them and their customers. 

CONQUER can thrive in its market at an elevated level, no longer struggling with an identity crisis that attracted the wrong audience. 

 

 


After this rebrand, people’s perception of CONQUER will match the brand experience they will receive, ultimately creating trust and brand advocacy.
