Your new home business venture
With everything that’s happening in the world right now, more and more people’s minds are turning toward home business ventures. We’re stuck at home so what can we do? Some choose to see this as an opportunity to take advantage of some extra free time and to start a new small business. If you’re one of those people, then you’re in luck! Below is a list of money-making businesses that you could do from home.
1. Reviewer
When you’re trying to decide whether or not to make a purchase, what is the first thing you do? If you’re anything like me, you’ll do a quick Google search to find out what the reviews say. These reviews are valuable, both to you and to the companies making the products! Reviews affect the purchasing decisions of many people. If your reviews get a lot of views, you could start receiving money and free products to review!
2. Blogger
Do you have a passion? Is it something you’d love to document with photos and stories online? For example, you may be highly skilled at home decor, woodworking, or cooking! If that’s you, you may be on your way to beginning your career as a blogger. Inspire others with what you’re doing and in the process, you may make yourself a little extra money!
3. Writer or Proofreader
If you snagged top marks in English classes in school and have been told you have a gift for crafting words, maybe you could consider working as a writer or proofreader for someone else’s blog or social media. Obviously, without the necessary education and qualifications, you will not be able to work as a professional copywriter, but there are always smaller gigs available!
4. Creator/Artist
Don’t let those masterpieces stay hidden in the back of your closet! If you’re crafty or artsy, consider sharing your skills with the world. It may surprise you that people are willing to pay for online classes or workshops to learn how you do what you do.
5. Tutor
The best tutors and educators understand the importance of being lifelong learners. If you love to learn and are excited by the idea of passing on your knowledge, tutoring might be for you! Try making learning fun for those who are struggling.
6. Social Media Manager
If you’re on your phone all day anyway, why not get paid for it? A social media presence is important for businesses today. However, few companies have the resources available to assign someone the task of keeping their social accounts up to date. Many choose to outsource this responsibility to someone else. Consider the idea of creating interesting content and imagery to attract their customers for them.
7. Voiceover Actor
As a voiceover actor, you’re bringing a script off the page for an audience who can’t see you. Acting only with your voice is a challenge. If you’ve got the skill for it, it could mean a new business idea for you! Check out other freelance voiceover artists here.
